A vacancy exists for a Chef. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a security clearance and undergo a medical examination.

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The Chef is responsible for the day-to-day planning, budgeting, purchasing, preparing and presenting meals for events of 2 to 100 guests. The Chef’s repertoire must include a diverse range of cooking styles, and meal types, including vegetarian. The Chef will also be required to maintain financial records, manage inventory and assure highest standards of safety, cleanliness and proper food preparation and storage. The Chef is required to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, including appliances, dinnerware, utensils, and surfaces, and always be properly and professionally attired.The Chef will also lead teams of service staff at functions.
- Completion of high school.
- At least three years of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Initiative, good interpersonal skills and flexibility.
- Fluent command of reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
WORK SCHEDULE: A minimum of 40 hours per week, though on occasions, schedule will vary to facilitate with special projects or events.
